After a long time me and my friends planned a trip To India Gate.
As you all know it's next to impossible to executive any get together plans. It's being four years we haven't met each other after our graduation. So we planned to visit India Gate this time. The next task was how to reach India Gate via metro station. As we were searching, we got all the information regarding the travelling time, total fare and distance on TravelKhna's page.

That page was very informative as we got all the details about India Gate and the metro stations.

We are a group of 5 Friends and everyone was coming from different parts of Delhi Escorts. All of us were coming from different lines which are Yellow line, violet line and blue line of DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation).

Violet Line metro station- This line runs between escorts mujesar and Kashmiri Gate. Central Secretariat is the nearest metro station if you are coming from escorts mujesar or the stations that lie on violet line. Total travel fare between escorts mujesar and Central Secretariat is rupees 60 and it will take 48 minutes to travel this distance.

After getting down at CS you have to take exit from gate number 1.

Blue Line metro station- There two routes in blue line which is Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida City Centre and other is Vaishali to Yamuna Bank and nearest metro to reach India gate from blue line is Barakhambha Road Metro Station and Pragati Maidan. Your destination is 3 Km from this metro station. Total travel time to reach your destination is about 10 minutes.



Yellow line metro station- This line connects Huda city center to Samaypur Badli in bidirectional ways. You have to get down at Central Secretariat metro station. From there you can take a bus, auto rickshaw or cab so as to get reach India gate.


We all meet at Central Secretariat metro station after then we took auto rickshaw and walked for 500 meters reached India gate. That monument was just amazing which looks same as gateway of India which is in mumbai. It was a tall monument and a flame with some soldiers who are always safe guarding it and this flame is commonly known as Amar Jawan Jyoti.

There is a children market behind this India gate. There we had lots of cotton candies, ground nuts and namkeens. After having lots of talks we clicked selfies and we walk out after having an ice cream. Then we saw a boating spot just in front of india Gate. At last we had a great experience after boating.
